As a man in my 40s who had never faced a true crisis, I had never felt the need for therapy.  All of that changed about a year ago.  I found myself in the midst of a massive crisis and didn't know where to turn.  I started to research different therapists in my area and found her profile.  I felt comfortable with her approach to therapy so I mustered up the courage to contact her and set up our first session.  At first, I found it difficult to speak about sensitive topics, including my feelings, with someone I just met.  Priscilla quickly put me at ease with her empathetic and non-judgemental approach.  She tactfully challenged my perspective, while respecting my values and beliefs, and helped me to process my emotional trauma.  Priscilla helped me to rediscover myself and to move forward confidently.  I am grateful that I no longer need ongoing therapy; though I do miss our regular conversations as they were the highlight of my week while everything else in my life was dark.  Thank you again, Priscilla, for all of your help!
